Church and Community Development

To strengthen faith-based leadership, reconciliation, and community engagement.

Project: Training of Pastors, Christian Religious and Emerging Leaders

The Church and Community Development thematic area focuses on strengthening churches and church institutions through capacity building and the socioeconomic and socioeconomic empowerment of community members. It aims to equip church youth with leadership and digital skills, mobilize churches as agents of development, peace, and reconciliation, and promote collaboration with government institutions to support sustainable community development.

Under this thematic area, WPTGF has implemented several initiatives, including training pastors on cybersecurity to help prevent digital theft and encouraging them to share this knowledge within their congregations. The organization has also distributed food bags, winter kits, wheelchairs, and cash grants to widows and other vulnerable community members. In addition, spiritual sessions on discipleship and holistic development have been conducted for Christian youth. WPTGF has further observed International Peace Day and International Women’s Day in partnership with churches to raise awareness about peacebuilding, gender equality, and social inclusion in Pakistan.

Project: Chirstmas Gifts Distribution

WPTGF distributes gifts (Ration bags) to diverse faith low-income families on the occasion of Christmas, Easter and Ramzan.
