Jamil Sadiq - Chairperson
Ms. Jamila Sadiq is serving as a Chairperson of Weaving People to Grow Foundation. She holds a Master in degree in Public Health and is an expert in Health Education. She has served the Pakistan army as a nursing tutor for 35 years. Her passion is to support WPTG Foundation to grow strategically for the peaceful coexistence of diverse communities.
Kiran Peter - Vice Chairperson / Executive Director
Ms.Kiran Peter has an overall of 20 years of experience of development or civil society sector and 5 years’ experience in the education sector. Her passion is to promote peace and harmony globally through fostering justice and socioeconomic development of marginalized communities. She hold a master degree in Mass Communication with fellowship in peacebuilding from John Hopkins University, Bologna Italy and USIP (online course). She has worked for national and International NGOs in Pakistan including Search for Common Ground Pakistan and contextualized two guidebooks narrated by Michael Shipler into Pakistani version “Radio Talkshows for Peacebuilding” and “Youth Radio Talkshows for Peacebuilding”. She has also translated and contextualized a book into Urdu and Pakistani version by “Family: The Future of the Church” by Johannes Reimer.
Sofia Irfan Garstin - Executive Secretary
Ms. Sophia Garstin is serving WPTG Foundation’s Board as a General Secretary. She holds a master Master degree in Sociology. She is a businessperson and has strong administrative and business skills. She is also a vibrant and active networker.
Andrew Samson David - Treasurer
Mr. Andrew Samson David has 14 years of expertise in optimising fiscal health and transforming business decision-making through data insights and automated reporting. Being C-suite, advising on impacts of potential decisions, responsible for financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and liquidity management. He is savvy in building finance functions from the ground up, pioneering new financial models and heading global initiatives. He oversees the financial affairs of the organisation and ensures they are legal, constitutional and within an accepted accounting practice. He ensures proper records are kept and that effective financial procedures are in place. Mr. Andrew monitors and reports on the financial health of the organisation.
Sanam Samuel - Board Member
Mr. Sanam Samuel Ghouri has 22 years of experience of the development sector. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in various roles related to finance, operations, and project management. He holds a Master in degree in Business Administration (MBA). He has is a Certified Diploma Human Resource Management, Certified Diploma in Microsoft Office and Certified Trainer for Management Accounting, MANGO.
Reema David - Board Member
Ms. Reema David is a teacher by profession with an experience of 20 years. She is working at St. Mary's Cambridge School as an English language teacher. She has done B.A B.ED. She is passionate to support children studying in primary section at own school and at WPTG Foundation. She supports WPTG Foundation in educational projects to bring positive difference in the lives of underprivileged children.
Philomina John - Board Member
Ms. Philomena John is a dedicated educator from Rawalpindi, Pakistan. She has been serving as a teacher at Sacred Heart School No. 3 for the past 20 years. Throughout her teaching career, she has been committed to providing quality education, nurturing young minds, and contributing to the academic and personal development of her students. Her experience, dedication, and passion for teaching have earned her the respect of both her colleagues and the school community.
