Recent Activities
WPTG Foundation held two Youth Discussion Forums with its youth network in September and October 2023 on Professional Goal Setting and Techniques of CV Making and Job Hunting. The key note speakers were Mr. George Chughtai and Mr. Peter Paul Bob respectively for the sessions. During the goal setting session the speaker strongly emphasized on defining a goal or destination before starting your journey to a profession. Secondly, setting SMART goal is important indicating where you are going and in how many years. Similarly, in the discussion forum on CV Making and Job Hunting the speaker explained in detail how to prepare a CV relevant to a job announcement and how to apply through job search sites e.g. Brightspyre, Rozee PK, Indeed etc.

Launching of WPTG Foundation’s Youth Network

Recent Activities
Weaving People to Grow Foundation launched its Youth Network on May 29, 2023, at the premises of St. Catherine’s Boarding where WPTG Foundation office is located.  The network aims to empower youth through education, engagement and employment for the promotion of peace and prosperity within the country. A total of 25 Youth attended the ceremony. During the ceremony, the youth was explained about the vision of WPTG Foundation for the development of youth in Pakistan and why the development of youth has an integral role in the promotion of peace and prosperity in the country and around the globe. WPTG Foundation’s Scholarship Program

Recent Activities
Weaving People to Grow Foundation (WPTG Foundation) initiated its Scholarship project in December 2022 with the generous contribution of Murree Brewery Pakistan, Peace and Reconciliation Network, an individual donor from Australia and WPTG Foundation Board Members and Volunteers. The Scholarship Program is being implemented under the project titled “Empowering Lower Socioeconomic Communities through Education in Pakistan”. It aims to empower youth and children belonging to lower socioeconomic communities to continue their education in mainstream educational institutions without the stress of educational expenses. The project has been helping these students by paying their monthly school fees and providing food items to two girls belonging to ultra-poor families.
